I think Uplifter is a pretty strong album. As with all 311 albums, each one has a different feel to them(Transistor was kind of dark and moody, Uplifter is just the opposite). If you’re a fan of 311 as I am you’ll find something in them all that you like. They’re just a group of friends who won’t stop rocking. No to shabby my friends, see you at the shows, mahalo.

i just want to say that us 311 fans get so bent out of shape about the band because we are extremely passionate about them. they happen to be one of 3 musical acts i will defend to no end, because they have something meaningful to say and i’ve seen how many lives they’ve changed. if you don’t get them, fine, no point in trying to harrass fans who obviously have invested a lot into a band who have proven to have a great deal of staying power in the industry.

I love 311…every song is it’s own adventure. Don’t compare every song to another song. Second 311 LIVE if LIFE CHANGING!!! On the bad side Nick Hexum I agree has lost just alittle magic in my opinion. He really seems tired and he should be he’s been rocking the stage for a long time. I still think he has gotten better vocally but he seems less into whats going on…and thats what made me like him originally. I have faith and I already heard uplifter live and it was sick tight so rock on 311! Best band EVER!!!!

I don’t care what review people say, this is my favorite band and I love everything about them and their music! If u don’t like it then that’s you.

After almost 4 years without anything new we finally get 311’s ninth studio album, Uplifter. This decade hasn’t exactly been the highlight of their career, but with this tough task at hand this is massive for 311. The last effort, Don’t Tread On Me, was a complete disappointment for fans including myself. I’ve wondered myself if 311 will ever bounce back and if they will ever “wow” me again. I admit it…I’m a huge 311 fan, and I can honestly admit that I love pretty much every 311 album.
